Match Your Hair With Your “Flair”- Friday’s Fitness Fashion

Happy Friday!

Have you had a “what should I do with my hair?” moment recently? Do you ever find yourself mentally putting an amazing outfit together and then realizing you have no idea what to do with your hair? Well I may have found the solution. As you all know one of my favorite sites is Fab Fit Fun. I came across an article that gives ideas for your hair along side of some great new fall fashion!

Here’s what they came up with:

Side Pony with Asymmetrical Top:

When you feel like sporting an asymmetrical dress or top, put your hair up in a low side pony.

To balance the top out, simply pull your hair to the side of your bare shoulder in a low pony and wrap with a hair band. To make a cleaner look, cover the band with a small piece of hair. Still need more direction, check it out here!  (Remember: to dress this up, you can curl your hair or even add a hair piece with some bling!)

Side Braid with Workout Gear:

If you’ve ever gone running in cool weather, you know how frizzy your ponytail can get.

Put your hair up in a cute side braid to keep the hair out of your face and under control. Pair it with a dry-fit hoodie and you’ll be turning heads as you work up a sweat! Plus, you’ll avoid that “not – so – cute” cone-head look when you pull your hood up!

Blazer with Middle Part:

Sporting a blazer with skinnies can instantly transform an outfit from casual to classic, so why not do the same with your hair?!

Switching up your side part to a strong middle part and making loose waves with a big-barreled curling iron is an easy fix.
Half – Up/Half – Down with Strapless Dress or Top:

Once you’ve learned the tricks of the trade when it comes to creating volume, why not dress up your shoulders with a half – up/half – down do. It’s simple to do, see?

Embellished Shoulders with High Bun:

Baroque and embellished shoulders are so fab this fall! Show them off with a chic top knot bun. This simple style will make your shimmery shoulders the main attraction and looks super sophisticated for a night out on the town.

This bun can be tricky if you have thinner hair. My friend Tiffany Pinero from Tiffany Pinero Style taught me a trick to the trade of not making these buns fall down. Hair socks! Yes, you read correctly. Hair socks are literally “socks” that you put around the ponytail holder to “bump up” your hair. You can buy them online at ASOS or you can make them at home! I smell a new DIY project!
Since your hair is the finishing touches to your outfits, these new secrets are just one way to spice up your looks even more! If you have any other ideas let me know. I’d love to get some new hair secrets.
See you all Sunday for Sunday’s Songs for the Week. Have a great weekend!
Stay fit!
